Refunds & Returns

We hope you love your Rugs purchase, however, we understand if you change your mind when it arrives or if the piece doesn't quite fit as you hoped!

If you are unhappy with the product you have purchased (exclusions apply, see below)* you may return the item(s) and are entitled to a full refund, minus shipping & handling charges, insurance costs and restocking fees, from and to Life Interiors, within 14 days.

Returned items must be unopened and in their original condition, with all hardware, fixtures and accessories, and must not be used or altered in any way. Any Change of Mind return may incur fees, including but not limited to return shipping and restocking fees. Restocking fees will be calculated at 25% of the price paid for the item.

Unfortunately, there is no refund, exchange, or cancellation available on custom, made to order and special order items, see further details below.

All return requests must be raised within 14 days of the date you received your order, please check the exclusions list to see if your item is eligible, and then see the below articles for the returns process for change of mind, or faulty/damaged returns.

RETURN / EXCHANGE ORDER FORM

Please note that we do not accept returns in our showrooms, a return request must be made with our Customer Service team. 

If returned items have been opened or are not in their full original condition and packaging, including all original wrappings, a restocking fee of 25% will be charged and taken off the refund total.

When returning an item, depending on the circumstances we will offer you one or all of the below options at the manager's discretion:

  • Refund back to your original payment method
  • Store credit
  • Exchange (depending on stock availability)

Sample viewing of non-refundable brands or products (listed below) can be organised with our showroom styling teams who are on hand 7 days a week to answer all your questions.

Their products are either made to order or special order items, and we encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or assistance you need with placing an order for these items to make sure you are 100% sure before you purchase.

Custom and special order items:

Please check the 'Delivery/Returns' tab on the product you are ordering to see if it is a custom or special order item. There is no refund, exchange, or cancellation available on custom, made to order and special order items.

Please note: The advised lead times may vary, and if subject to delays and situations out of our control the zero cancellation policy still applies.

Custom products are made to order and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all custom orders are 100% appropriate and exactly what is required prior to purchasing.

Floor Stock Sale Items

Our floor stock sale items have been used as display products in our Sydney or Melbourne showrooms and may be subject to some wear and tear.

The general condition of the product is listed on the floor stock sale pages, however, they are all sold as seen and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any floor stock sale purchases.

These items are available for pick up only, or, large/sensitive items may be eligible for local 2 man shipping at a flat fee of $199. 

Any pick-up items are signed for and no liability is held by us for damages in transit once collected.
